Purpose
Learn how to enter the operational RTSM, establish the correct Account and study context, and locate the relevant workflow before taking action.
Expected outcome
You can explain which organization and protocol you are working in, recognize scope restrictions, and distinguish the product website from the application that holds trial records.
Prerequisites
- A provisioned, active RTSM user account and the approved application address.
- Assigned access to the intended Account, study and sites.
- Required training and authorization under your organization's procedures.
New Account: self-service signup
When enabled, a new Account Administrator can register from the application sign-in page. New Accounts start on the Free tier; all tiers provide core RTSM features with scale-based quotas. See registration, tier selection and monthly invoices for the procedure. Team members should use approved provisioning rather than creating another organization Account.
Section 1: Sign in and choose a context
- Open the operational application and enter your own username and password. Then enter the six-digit code sent to your registered email within 10 minutes to complete sign-in. Do not share accounts or codes.
- Select the Account when prompted. An Account is the organization boundary, not the study itself.
- Select the Study within that Account. If multiple studies are available, verify the protocol and status before continuing.
- Use the left navigation to open Studies & Design, Subjects, Inventory, Reports or another permitted page.
- Recheck the top bar before a record-changing action. Switching context changes the records available to the workflow.
Section 2: Read controls and feedback
| Control | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Account selector | Working organization; available values depend on your access. |
| Study selector | Working protocol within the selected Account. |
| Help | Contextual fields, dependencies and training terminology for the current page. |
| Floating action feedback | Explicit success or error outcome. It remains visible while scrolling until dismissed, replaced or the originating workflow is left. |
Troubleshooting and checks
A missing study or navigation item can reflect permissions or scope, not a software failure. Ask your authorized administrator to review assignments. Do not select another organization's context to bypass a restriction. A successful sign-in does not authorize every operational action.

This guide supports training and does not authorize clinical decisions, override access controls or establish regulatory compliance. The approved protocol and organizational procedures remain authoritative.
